Job Description:

Responsible for performing analysis, reporting and visualization to support decisions within different areas of the company. The Data Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and using Data to forecast or guide business activity. The ideal candidate will have the curiosity and skills to investigate the data from multiple angles, conduct research and identifying trends while partnering with colleagues to match data from multiple resources to make recommendations.

Your Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned.
  • Accountable for data quality, data configuration/maintenance, report development and data governance functions to provide accurate and timely information to business users.
  • Analyze data for anomalies, trends and opportunities for improvement and report on same.
  • Assist with performing impact analyses for all operations improvements.
  • Support data governance standards and other efforts promoting “one version of the truth”.
  • Responsible for developing/modifying various reports and dashboards using available tools like Power BI.
  • Manage user expectations via timely delivery of accurate information in the form of reports and dashboards.
  • Participate in the selection of appropriate reporting tools
  • Builds business intelligence applications using statistical, database and/or general programming languages and tools. Leverage's technology for data management, report automation and/or ad hoc reporting for end users.
  • Assists other associates with preparation of reports and use of information systems, software and related sources of information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training is required.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry required.
  • Experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office products, project management software, database software, and contact management systems are required.
  • Strong SQL skills
