Assistant General Counsel Brooke Adler joined Centauri Insurance in 2014 and has more than ten years of insurance experience. During her insurance career, Adler has been tasked with various responsibilities, including holding company compliance, licensing, formation, business expansion, financial and market conduct examination oversight, governmental affairs, compliance, mergers, acquisitions and consolidations. At Centauri, Adler is responsible for the Legal, Compliance and Human Resources Departments where she manages the group’s corporate transactions, risk assessment and compliance audit functions and oversees employment matters. Adler also provides legal counsel to the organization on various issues impacting its business.
Adler started her legal career as a law clerk with the State of New Jersey, Superior Court of Bergen County, Criminal Division. Thereafter, Adler joined a super-regional carrier as a Compliance Analyst and ultimately held position of Staff Attorney. As Staff Attorney, her primary responsibilities included handling corporate matters of varying complexity, regulatory compliance, governmental affairs and overseeing a caseload of litigated matters. Notably, Adler served as litigation specialist and corporate representative of the carrier in three verdict trials and spearheaded the company’s expansion efforts into 12 states.
Adler graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL with a bachelor of arts degree. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2008. Adler is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Sarasota County Bar Association.
